3 people injured in drive-by shooting in Spanish Lake

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that left three people injured Monday night in Spanish Lake.

According to the St. Louis County Police Department, the shooting occurred around 8:30 p.m. on the 1100 block Trampe Avenue.

Multiple rounds of shots were fired from a moving vehicle, according to police. When officers responded to the scene, they found three people suffering from injuries in the shooting.

Two of the victims were transported to a local hospital after the shooting for treatment and the third victim was treated at the scene by EMS.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Police are working to figure out whether the victims were targeted in the shooting or if they got caught in the crossfire.
