2 wounded in overnight shooting in downtown St. Louis
ST. LOUIS – Two men in their 20s were hospitalized after a shooting in downtown St. Louis overnight.
According to a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson, the shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Spruce Street.
An argument broke out between several people, police said, and an unidentified man took out a gun and fired several shots.
Two men, believed to be 21 and 24 years of age, were shot. They were each taken to separate hospitals in private vehicles.
The victims’ injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
