2 women wanted for stealing food from grocery store: SLMPD

ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) is searching for two women who are wanted for allegedly stealing food from a grocery store in the Tower Grove East neighborhood on Sept. 22.

Officials say the incident happened in the 2700 block of South Grand Boulevard. SLMPD shared that when the women were confronted by an employee outside of the business, one of the suspects "pulled out a hatchet and threatened to cut the employee."

Police say the suspects fled the area in a dark blue Dodge Ram 3500 that had a "94H-1KS" Missouri license plate.

Suspect one is described as a white female who is believed to be about 5'4" or 5'5." Officials say suspect one is around 30-35 years old and weighs 250 pounds. At the time of the alleged robbery, suspect one had blonde hair, as well as tattoos on her left chest, left bicep, left hand, wrist and right hand.

SLMPD says suspect one is considered armed and dangerous, as she was carrying a silver hatchet at the time of the incident.

Suspect two is described as a white female who is also believed to be around 5'4" or 5'5." Police say suspect two--who has brown hair--is around 30-35 years of age and weighs between 180-200 pounds.
