2 injured in Ferguson apartment fire: Officials
FERGUSON, Mo. - A fire broke out at the former Canfield Apartments in Ferguson just before 7 p.m. on Wednesday, resulting in two injuries.
The blaze quickly escalated to a two-alarm fire, but emergency officials managed to knock down the main part of the fire swiftly. One person was injured after jumping off a balcony, while another suffered smoke inhalation.
Both individuals were transported to the hospital for treatment, according to the Ferguson Police Department.
Officials say the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
