17-year-old shot during short-term rental party in Carondelet
ST. LOUIS – A 17-year-old was hospitalized early Sunday morning after being shot at a short-term rental party in south St. Louis.
According to a spokesperson for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting occurred around 2 a.m. in the 6500 block of Minnesota Avenue, located in the city’s Carondelet neighborhood.
Police learned there was a large fight outside the party and several shots were fired.
The victim told police she felt pain in her leg and drove herself home and contacted EMS there. The teen was taken to the hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound to her knee and is listed in stable condition.
