1 dead; 2 injured after car slams into Barnes & Noble in Ladue

LADUE, Mo. - One person is dead and two are injured after a car crashed through a window at the Barnes & Noble in Ladue Friday.

According to the Ladue Police Department, the crash happened around 1:30 p.m. at the Ladue Crossing Shopping Center, which is located in the 8000 block of Ladue Road.

When officers arrived at the scene, they located two injured victims, as well as one person who was pronounced deceased.

First responders transported the victims to a hospital for medical treatment, according to Ladue Police. The circumstances surrounding the extent of the victims' injuries were not disclosed by police.

Officials say the driver is cooperating with investigators.
